We live in a time when government is out of control. When conservatives complain, they are demonized and called Nazis. The CIA is under attack for torturing terrorists while the real terrorists are set free to open businesses in Bermuda. Government spending is out of control while we consider federalizing the healthcare of our entire country.
How did this happen? Just a generation ago, neither of these things would have even made it onto the radar. Yet we stand on the precipice of economic disaster. While good folk sit at home and watch Hee Haw and Andy Griffith reruns, quasi socialists nearly stole our country. Well, if there is no outcry to this we will soon quote the late Marvin Gaye by saying it...you know read the title.
