Well, Juan Williams discovered what happens when your ideas go counter to those of the NPR plantation owners. His view of how he feels when he rides on an airplane with someone dressed in muslim garb got him his walking papers. Basically, he learned what many of us already knew, free speech is OK as long as it agrees with the person who signs your paycheck.In reality, liberals are more closed-minded than the conservatives they often castigate. If Juan doesn’t know that by now, I don’t know if there is any hope for him or those of his ilk. Regardless of how you may feel about his statement, doesn’t he have the right to express those views. If the truth be known, many more than Juan feel the same way.
We are in a battle in which out tactics are similar to those of someone using Marques of Queensbury rules against a Mike Tyson type fighter. Only the niave believe they will win in such a scheme. I wonder if Juan’s former employees are those niave ones? Only time will tell.
