My kids and I were watching the Orlando Magic/Miami Heat game. The commentators began discussing how Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh were playing together as a team. One person said one thing, the other said another then they switched to guess who? President Obama. The Jump Shooter in Chief gave some insightful comments on how they were not playing together as a team.I looked at the kids and said “you can’t get away from this guy.” Radicals are trying to destroy us, the North Koreans are lobbing artillery shells into South Korea and the prez is commenting on the Miami Heat. Well, Mr. President, I hope you will apply this teamwork thing to getting jobs in the private sector, decreasing our tax burden and preventing pat downs in our airports. Maybe we ought to do some basketball diplomacy,I heard the new head of North Korea is an NBA fan himself. Maybe if you hook him up with some tickets and give him an autographed Kobe Bryant jersey, he would stop shooting at his brethren to the south.
